Dear vizsla-friends!
Ungarsk Vizsla i Norge (Hungarian vizsla in Norway) celebrates its 20th Anniversary in 2025. We are therefore arranging a special vizsla exhibition and meeting in Norway at Vikersund 6.–9. June 2025. This weekend will include numerous training activities and social events – for both two- and four legged
participants.
Some highlights:
Training with Astrid W. Ellefsen og Monica Hauan from R+Gundogs/Fuglehundportalen – special focus on retrieving and sitting to flush.
Celebration dinner: tapas, speeches, and presentation of awards for UVN Dogs of the year-

Vizsla dog show: judge Andras Vinnai from Hungary
Private individual training – especially adapted for you and your dog

Programme:
Friday: Opening night mingling and Hungarian goulash dinner at Kongsrud House (19.30)
Saturday: Training at Bjølgerud-Søndre farm (duration from ca 1000-1500) and Anniversary dinner at Kongsrud House (19.30)
Sunday: Exhibition, training, and barbecue dinner
Monday: Private training

Friday: Hungarian goulash dinner (nkr 250,- pp)
Lunch baguettes Saturday, Sunday and/or Monday? You can choose between these toppings:
ham and cheese (nkr 70,- pp)
chicken and pesto (nkr 120,- pp)
tuna fish salad (nkr 100,- pp)
feta cheese, bell pepper, sun dried tomatoes and salad (nkr 100,- pp)
Saturday: Anniversary dinner, tapas (nkr 400,- pp)
Sunday: barbecue dinner, bring your own food and drink, but let us know if you're coming
Because of the food we have to have your registration by the 28th of April at the latest!
The vizsla dog show:
The show can be found in the Norwegian Kennel Klub's schedule. Here you will find the instructions on how to enter. Our show is listed here: - latest entry for the show: May 26th.
The judge Andras Vinnai:
Andras has judged dogs since 1997 and is especially fond of Hungarian breeds. He is president of "World Association of the Hungarian Pastoral Breeds" in addition to his profession as an aviation engineer and his passion for dogs. He and his family own several dogs, including a Shorthaired German Pointer – and he is looking forward to meeting us!

There are also some cabins, houses and flats available on Airbnb, also in the Vikersund area. It is not far to drive from Hønefoss, Drammen, Hokksund or Kongsberg to Vikersund. Some of us have decided to stay at Hokksund camping.
